The Rundown: GameDay possession bar, sharper overlays, real-time updates
Your overlays just got a big upgrade. This week we shipped the GameDay possession bar, made every new overlay bigger and sharper by default, and turned on real-time updates. Here's the rundown.
GameDay possession bar
A full-width down & distance strip that tints to whoever has the ball — plus new timeout layouts, play-clock styles, and auto-contrast text so it stays readable over any team color. Switch it on from the Layout tab in the designer.
Bigger, sharper by default
New overlays now start at a larger, crisper size so they read clean on broadcast — no more squinting at a tiny bug. Need to fine-tune the size? It's all on the Size & Positioning tab in the designer.
Real-time updates are live
Your overlays now stream straight from the Scorebird NeST — scores and the clock move the moment they change, instead of catching up a beat later. Using Scorebird? Set it up under Data Sources.
How-to · 30 seconds: show & hide fields from the controller
See the little eye icons in your data panel? Click one to toggle that field on or off live — no switching to the designer. It's great for hiding fields like down & distance between possessions.
